CURRENT TRAINEE EVENTS
*Note these events are open only to Investment 2020 trainees.
As part of Investment 2020, we are keen to support current trainees as much as possible, so that when a current trainee finish the programme, he/she have the best possible opportunity of getting a job in the industry. So we schedule a range of events specifically for a trainee. These usually take place at one of the sponsor firm’s offices.
At our flagship Industry Insight events, we invite senior leaders from all aspects of investment management to present on a range of specialised topics: including distribution, marketing, investments and personal development. We have also invited fund managers to present on various aspects of their role – providing insight and access not available to many people. Current trainees will also be given ample time to network with other trainees from across the Investment 2020 network.
We also organise courses for smaller groups of trainees, invite he/she to attend industry seminars and other relevant events hosted by the Investment Management Association (IMA), the leading professional Institutes, such as CFA (UK) and CISI and firms such as UBS.
